This Terms of Service (the "Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (the "User") and HJS INSURANCE AGENTS, SUB-AGENTS & CONSULTANTS LTD or HJS INSURANCE (the "Insurance Agency") governing the use of the client portal of the Insurance Agency. By accessing or using the client portal, the User agrees to be bound by this Agreement.

 

1. Description of Service

The client portal is an online platform provided by the Insurance Agency, based in Cyprus, allowing Users to access and manage their insurance accounts, policies, and related services. The specific services offered through the portal may vary and are subject to change at the discretion of the Insurance Agency.

 

2. Access

You may only access and use the Portal for lawful and legitimate purposes. You agree not to use the Portal in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its functionality. You further agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Portal or any related systems or networks.

 

3. User Registration and Account

3.1 User Eligibility: Users must be 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

3.2 Account Creation: Users must complete the registration process by providing accurate, complete, and current information. User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password.

3.3 Account Termination: HJS Insurance reserves the right to suspend or terminate User's account at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of this Agreement or involvement in fraudulent activities.

 

4. User Obligations

4.1. Account Creation: Users must create a unique account to access the client portal. The User is responsible for keeping their account credentials secure and confidential. The User shall notify the Insurance Agency immediately if they suspect any unauthorised use of their account.

4.2. Accurate Information:

The User agrees to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating the account and updating their account details. The Insurance Agency shall not be responsible for any consequences resulting from inaccurate or outdated information provided by the User.

4.3. Lawful Use: The User shall use the client portal in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. The User shall not engage in any unauthorised or illegal activities through the portal.

 

5. Intellectual Property

The Portal, including its design, layout, features, and content, is the property of the Insurance Agency and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Portal solely for your personal or business purposes related to your engagement with the Company. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works based on the Portal or any part thereof.

5.1 Ownership: All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets related to the Client Portal, shall remain the property of HJS Insurance or its licensors.

5.2 Use Restrictions: User shall not reproduce, modify, distribute, or publicly display any content from the Client Portal without obtaining prior written consent from HJS Insurance.

 

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.1. Data Collection and Use: The Insurance Agency may collect, and process personal information of the User as required to provide the requested services through the client portal. 6.2. Data Security: The Insurance Agency implements reasonable security measures to protect User data stored on the client portal. However, the User acknowledges that no system is 100% secure, and the Insurance Agency cannot guarantee the absolute security of User data.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 No Warranty: The Client Portal and its content are provided on an "as-is" basis, without any warranties, express or implied. HJS Insurance does not warrant that the Client Portal will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

7.2 Liability Exclusion: In no event shall HJS Insurance be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Client Portal, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7.3 Insurance Services: The Client Portal facilitates the transmission of insurance policies and provides related services. HJS Insurance does not warrant that the information transmitted will be error-free.

 

8. Modifications and Termination

The Insurance Agency reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the client portal or any part thereof, with or without notice. The Insurance Agency may also modify this Agreement at its sole discretion. Users shall regularly review this Agreement for any updates or changes.

 

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Cyprus. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cyprus.

 

10. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the User and the Insurance Agency regarding the use of the client portal, superseding any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.

 

By using the client portal, the User acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
